Agenda:
To discuss and plan the organization and participation of students, faculty and staff in the International
Day of Yoga 2025 – “Yoga Sangam”.
Proceedings:

  1. The Dean & Principal informed the members about the circular issued by the Ministry of
    AYUSH and National Medical Commission regarding the mandatory observance of International
    Day of Yoga on 21.06.2025 from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM.
  2. It was emphasized that participation of all students, faculty and staff is compulsory to ensure
    successful conduct of the event.
  3. Members decided that all participants should assemble in front of the Administrative Office at
    6:20 AM sharp.
  4. Participants were instructed to bring their own yoga mats for the session.
  5. Prof. & HOD, Community Medicine, along with Prof. Dr. P. Sree Lakshmi and Prof. Dr. K.
    Kalyan Kumar, were assigned the responsibility to coordinate and supervise the event
    arrangements.
  6. It was decided that the event would be properly recorded through photographs and videos and
    digitized for submission to the respective authorities.
  7. All Heads of Departments were instructed to ensure circulation of the circular and confirm
    participation from their respective departments.
    Resolution:
    The committee unanimously resolved to conduct the International Day of Yoga 2025 – “Yoga Sangam”
    in a disciplined and organized manner with active participation from all students, faculty, and staff.
    Conclusion:
    The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the Dean & Principal, encouraging everyone to participate
    enthusiastically and promote awareness about the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being.
