The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with immense pride and enthusiasm on 26th January 2025 at Mamata Lawn, under the aegis of the Mamata Educational Society. The celebration was attended by a large gathering of students, postgraduates, faculty members, and the principals of Mamata Medical, Dental, and Nursing Colleges.
The event commenced with a grand march-past, setting a spirited tone for the occasion. The chief guest, Puvvada Jaya Sree Garu, graced the ceremony with her presence alongside the principals of the respective institutions. She hoisted the national flag, followed by the soulful rendition of the national anthem by the nursing students, creating a moment of patriotic unity and pride.
In her address, Puvvada Jaya Sree Garu emphasized the significance of Republic Day and the values embedded in the Indian Constitution. Her words served as an inspiration to all present, encouraging them to uphold the principles of democracy, justice, and unity. To commemorate the event, group photographs were taken featuring the chief guest, staff, and students, capturing the essence of celebration and togetherness. The ceremony concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of sweets to all students, leaving behind fond memories of a meaningful and memorable Republic Day.
