Central Casualty Service

Casualty works round the clock and managed by 4 doctors and 10 nurses in each shift. Specialists are available on call. The casualty services for Obstetrics & Gynaecology are located in a separate block where labour room also is located. Total 30 beds are available in casualty area. Central oxygen supply, central suction, defibrillator, pulse oximeter, ambu bag, disaster trolley, 60mA X-ray machine and crash cots etc. are available. There is an emergency theatre which is fully equipped with anaesthesia, resuscitation and surgical equipment and is located in the casualty. Radiology department and clinical laboratory are next to casualty.

In casualty emergency cases are admitted, if required emergency treatment is given and transferred to concerned department for further treatment. Medico legal cases are attended. There are 2 Ambulances.
