All the beds in the hospital are free beds. All the inpatients are being given free food two times in a day since last 15 years.

R.I.C.U. (Respiratory Intensive Care Unit): It is airconditioned. There are 6 beds. It has a central oxygen supply, central suction, and compressed air supply. There are 6 multipara monitors, 2 ventilators, 1 defibrillator, 6 nebulizers, 6 infusion pumps, 6 syringe pumps.

Burns I.C..U.: It is airconditioned. There are 5 beds. It has a central oxygen supply, central suction, and compressed air supply. There are 5 multipara monitors, 2 ventilators, 1 defibrillator, 5 nebulizers, 5 infusion pumps, 5 syringe pumps.

Neuro I.C.U.: It is airconditioned. There are 6 beds. It has a central oxygen supply, central suction, and compressed air supply. There are 6 multipara monitors, 1 ventilator, 1 defibrillator, 6 nebulizers, 6 infusion pumps, 6 syringe pumps.

Urology I.C.U.: It is airconditioned. There are 6 beds. It has a central oxygen supply, central suction, and compressed air supply. There are 6 multipara monitors, 1 ventilator, 1 defibrillator, 6 nebulizers, 6 infusion pumps, 6 syringe pumps.

Operation Theatres

Pre-anesthetic checkup 2 beds and pre-operative 8 beds, and Post-operative ward with 16 beds are available within O.T complex. Operation Theatre Distribution

Features All operation theatres have Laminar Flow with AHU. Facilities for Endoscopy are available. CC TV is available. Air-Conditioned Post-operative ward Central Oxygen supply and Central suction. All post-operative beds are equipped with multi para monitors, cardiac monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, etc.

Blood Bank

The Blood Bank is under the purview of the Pathology department. It has valid license up to 31st December 2022. The Drugs control Administration has granted license for Blood components. On an average 42 blood units are issued daily.

Blood Bank at Mamata General Hospital is centrally air-conditioned, working for 24 hours round the clock and one of the finest blood transfusion centers which collects blood, conducts camp and promotes blood donation. We are catering our services for a decade to meet the needs of patients, hospitals, clinicians and related services.

Our hospital also motivates the voluntary donors about the importance of blood transfusions and educate about the testing of the infections transmitted by the transfusing of blood components.

Blood Components Available are:

• Packed Red Blood Cells (PRBC)
• Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP)
• Platelet Concentrate

Apheresis:

The process of apheresis involves removal of whole blood from a patient or donor. Within an instrument that is essentially designed as a centrifuge, the components of whole blood are separated. One of the separated portions is then withdrawn and the remaining components are retransfused into the patient or donor.

Diagnositic Imaging does comprehensive diagnostic studies with upto date latest techniques and advanced technology under supervision of experienced and dedicated faculty with deep knowledge. These services are provided 24X7 and cater all clinical departments of our Institute. The following equipments are present in Outpatient and Inpatient block of Mamata General Hospital.
